Here’s the story behind this song:
I (etikid) was running on the treadmill with my iPod and “The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s- Skeletons” came on … I remembering turning off the treadmill, sitting down and listening to the track thinking “what the heck is this? it’s f–n amazing!!” and then i just spaced out because I had not heard anything like it before. The next day I showed the track to Joey Dats and told him we should reinterpret the song as TGG. Next thing you know, J.Dats has flipped the track completely, we start brainstorming ideas, writing about mistakes or “skeletons” in the past that haunt us. We wanted the final vibe of the song to be positive and so we made the hook…
